German Gore-Tex Pants

The German Gore-Tex Pants are genuine Bundeswehr-issue wet-weather trousers cut in classic five-color Flecktarn camouflage. Built from a 3-layer Gore-Tex laminate with fully taped seams, they shed rain and block wind while staying breathable enough to wear on the move. Practical military details include adjustable suspenders, hip access zippers to reach underlying trouser pockets, full-length ankle zips for pulling on over boots, and hook-and-loop waist adjustment. Ideal for hunters, hikers, field shooters, and anyone who needs reliable rain protection layered over their existing kit.

Features

  1. Genuine Bundeswehr Issue — Authentic German Army surplus wet-weather trousers pulled directly from Bundeswehr stocks.
  2. Flecktarn Camouflage — Iconic five-color German Flecktarn pattern breaks up your outline across woodland and mixed terrain.
  3. 3-Layer Gore-Tex Laminate — Waterproof, windproof, and breathable membrane construction (Wasserdampfdurchlässiges 3-Lagen-Laminat) keeps rain out while letting sweat vapor escape.
  4. Fully Taped Seams — Every seam is sealed to block water intrusion in sustained downpours and wet brush.
  5. Adjustable Suspenders — Integrated 1-3/8" wide braces hold the trousers in place under load and can be tucked away when not needed.
  6. Side Access Zippers — Zippered slots on each hip let you reach the pockets of the trousers worn underneath without dropping the overpants.
  7. Zippered Ankle Cuffs — Lower-leg zippers open wide to pull the trousers on or off over boots in seconds.
  8. Hook-and-Loop Waist Adjustment — Velcro tabs at the waist dial in the fit over base layers, fleece, or field trousers.
  9. Zipper Fly with Button Flap — Storm flap covers the fly to prevent water seeping through the closure.
  10. Lightweight Pack Size — Compact, low-bulk shell stows easily in a ruck for unpredictable weather.

Bought these as a beater pair for elk scouting and brush busting where I don't want to thrash my nicer Goretex. They've been through about 3 months of soggy Pacific Northwest weather and they're holding up great. Waterproofing is legit sat on a wet log eating lunch for 20 min and stayed bone dry. The velcro waist adjustment and the suspender setup is a little fiddly compared to a normal drawcord but you get used to it. The Large I got is roomy in the waist but kinda short if you're tall. I'm 5'10" and they're fine over boots, anyone over 6'1" should size up. Way better value than the British DPM MVP pants I had before.

Bought these for my husband and he says they work great over his regular pants when its raining. They smell a little like storage when you first get them but that goes away after airing out. Overall happy with the purchase.

These things are no joke. Been using them on weekend hikes and they hold up way better than the cheap stuff from REI. Got caught in a downpour last week and stayed completely dry the whole time. The suspenders are a little weird at first but honestly you get used to them fast.

Legit the best rain pants I've owned

Get the liners if you want to use them in fall and winter!

I live in Oregon where hiking in the rain is basically unavoidable 8 months out of the year and these German Gore-Tex pants have been a total game changer. I wore them on a 10 mile hike in the Coast Range in steady rain and my legs stayed completely dry the entire time. The zippered ankles are genius because I can put them on right over my boots without having to unlace anything which means I can throw them on when the rain starts without stopping for five minutes on the trail. The integrated suspenders keep them in place way better than just a waistband would especially when moving fast downhill. The Flecktarn camo looks awesome in Pacific Northwest forests too.

Integrated suspenders keep the pants secure and in position during active movement without constantly readjusting

The pants are designed as an outer shell layer and dont provide any insulation on their own in cold weather

The quality on these German surplus pants is impressive. The double snap front is solid and the integrated suspenders actually stay put. I've worn them in heavy downpours and stayed completely dry. Perfect for any outdoor activity in wet weather.

    Flecktarn camo is the best!
