looks amazingThis beret is the REAL deal, not some cheap knockoff you find on amazon. The wool is thick and feels sturdy, when I put it on and shaped it over my left ear it sat just right and looked exactly like the photos of actual Bundeswehr soldiers. The red color is deep and rich not faded or washed out like some surplus stuff can be.

Incredible quality, ridiculously low priceI don't know how they make a profit selling these hats at this price. 100%wool, says so in German in the hat. Made in '96, but looks like mine was never worn before I put it on. I'm going to have to buy the green one now, too.
