Stunning reproduction, looks incredible on the shelfI collect WWI era militaria and finding a quality Pickelhaube reproduction in actual steel is harder than you'd think most of the ones out there are cheap plastic or thin pot metal that looks like a halloween costume. This one is the real deal. The steel shell has real weight and substance to it and the brass accents — the Imperial Eagle on the front, the chin scales, the spike are all beautifully detailed. The removable spike is a nice touch for display versatility and the leather liner inside is comfortable and actually functional, not just glued in as an afterthought. I have it displayed next to my Gewehr 98 and a set of reproduction Imperial German shoulder boards and the whole setup looks like it belongs in a museum. For a reproduction at this price point the quality is outstanding
