The Glock 21 is a full sized GLOCK pistol that is chambered in .45ACP. This full sized Glock is popular with those who appreciate the reliability of the GLOCK system but want a larger caliber version. Recognizing the demand, GLOCK produced the Glock 21 and it has been a favorite among .45ACP fans since it was first released.
With the factory standard Glock 21 magazine holding 13-rounds, GLOCK has produced this reduced capacity magazine for the Glock 21. While the primary benefit for the 10-round magazine is the universal compliance with magazine capacity laws, there is a secondary benefit. Ammunition is generally sold in 50-round boxes, which means a 10-round magazine can be loaded exactly 5 times to exhaust an entire box of ammo. If you used the standard 13-round magazine, you would be left with loose rounds or would need to load reduced count when using a box of 50.
