Glock Factory Rear Sight

This is Glock's own OEM rear sight, OEM meaning it is the original factory part made by Glock rather than an aftermarket copy. It is the 6.9mm polymer version with the familiar white U-outline notch. Shooters use it to replace a damaged or worn rear sight, or to swap to a different sight height when their pistol is hitting high or low at their usual distance.

Choosing The Right Height

Check the height of the rear sight currently on your pistol before ordering. If you want the same zero, match it. If your groups sit consistently high or low, a different height can correct that. Fitting a dovetail sight usually calls for a sight pusher or punch, and a gunsmith can do the job if you do not have the tools.
