Authentic Italian ECWS beats the Ferrino reprosAdded this to my European surplus collection. If you're comparing this to the Ferrino Italian-style bags or the Colemans sleep systems, this is the real deal, actual issued gear, not a commercial reproduction. The hollow fiber fill is typical of late 90s/early 2000s Italian issue kit. The mummy cut is more European than American (read: slimmer) which makes sense given the source. Hood cinches down tight and the draft tube along the zipper is proper spec. Mine was in excellent unissued condition, no stains or repairs. At under fifty bucks this is a steal compared to the USGI MSS which runs triple the price. Keep Shooting shipped fast and the bag was exactly as described. If you're a collector or just want solid surplus gear, grab one before they're gone.
