Ka-Bar Modified Tanto

The Ka-Bar Modified Tanto is a long fixed-blade knife built for hard field work. Because the blade does not fold, there is no hinge or lock to wear out, and it handles chopping, prying and camp chores better than a pocket knife. A dark finish, ridged grip and straight crossguard give it the familiar Ka-Bar look. It comes with a hard sheath that rides on a belt or straps to a pack, so it suits hunters, campers and anyone who wants a large knife on their kit.

Features

• Fixed Steel Blade — The long single-edged blade has a sweeping point and is fixed to the handle, so it stays solid under heavy use.

• Fuller Along The Spine — A groove along the upper blade, known as a fuller, removes weight from the steel without making the blade much weaker.

Build And Carry

The steel blade is stamped KA-BAR OLEAN NY just above the guard and is black from guard to tip. The sheath is open-sided at the top so the handle sits proud for a quick draw, and two nylon straps hold the knife in. Wear it on a belt through the top loop, or lash it to gear through the perforated edges.
