The LALO BUD/S Zodiac Recon is a lace-up running shoe made for training where your feet won't stay dry. Its name points to BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training, the US Navy's SEAL selection course) and the Zodiac inflatable boats used in that world. Drainage ports in the sole let water escape, and an open mesh upper lets air through. It suits runners, rucking and PT groups, and anyone whose workouts take them through surf, creeks or rain.

Features

• Engineered Mesh Upper — An open, knit-style mesh body lets air move through the shoe and doesn't hold much water once you're out of it.
• Bonded Overlays — Thin black strips fused across the upper add structure around the midfoot and toe without bulky stitched seams.
• Zodiac Foam Midsole — The charcoal midsole, marked Zodiac foam on the heel, gives you cushioning underfoot for running and drills.
• Drainage Ports — Slotted openings along the midsole sidewall and through the forefoot of the outsole give trapped water a way out.
• Segmented Outsole — Deep grooves divide the sole into separate zones for flex, and a molded LALO logo sits under the midfoot.
• Padded Collar — A cushioned black collar wraps the ankle opening to reduce rubbing at the heel.
• Lace-Up Closure — Round black laces run through a full row of eyelets so you can tighten the fit before wet or uneven ground.
• Black And Charcoal Colorway — An all-black upper over a charcoal gray sole keeps the look low-key and easy to wear with uniform or PT gear.

Construction and Fit

LALO pairs a lightweight mesh upper with a full-length foam midsole and a grooved outsole, so the shoe moves through water and keeps working once you're back on land. The drainage openings run through the sole itself, which helps the shoe shed water faster than a sealed trainer. It comes in several sizes, and the lace-up closure lets you adjust the fit across the instep.
