How to Measure: Measure from armpit to armpit to find the chest measurement. For the sleeve length, measure from the shoulder point to the end of the cuff. As most of us that remember the Vietnam days, we fondly recall the Air Force bomber jackets that were originally designed to keep the pilot warm in sub-zero weather. Unfortunately the old ones I have seen have either disintegrated over the years or have been stolen from storage and pawned by someone looking for the big bucks. So it is a bit sad that these newer versions are much more expensive, as they are much nicer and warmer. BUT. The real reason I am writing this review is that, while I am satisfied with the quality and warmth of the jacket, and very much want to order more in different colors and/or hooded sweatshirts. They need a very simple "Zipper sleeve pockets", like on some civilian versions. I have my reason for not liking them as it makes it very hard to unzip the pockets and to pull them out with my fingers when I need to. It would be so simple to put the snap on the right hand sleeve to attach a zipper on the left hand sleeve and eliminate that very irritating situation.

Very nice jacket, with plenty of zipper length to fit over other layers underneath. Material seems pretty thick and tough, and feels as warm as a flight jacket needs to. Good zipper and collar work, with snaps at wrist to keep sleeves in place. Overall a great purchase. If you're between sizes and the price is right, size down. A 3XL might be just a bit big for a 2XL body. (I wear mostly XL jackets, except when they have waist cinchers, and am very pleased with the size I ordered.)

A light winter jacket. Does not feel warm. Looks good and seems well made. I got this item to replace a former similar jacket. That wore out and was also too warm. It should not have taken a large in to exchange for a small. But, for me, the small jacket still was too big and long.

Really cool. Very very warm. I'm a 6'3", 250 lb person. I bought the XXL size. I usually don't wear an XXL but I wanted to make sure I was able to fit my arms into the sleeves comfortably. If you are considering buying this. Don't hesitate. Go ahead and order it. You will be glad you did. I bought mine for about $50 and it's worth the money

Jacket arrived as expected. Love the fit, the style, the warmth. I'm only a size medium in womens and am having a bit of trouble fastening and unfastening it because the metal zipper can catch. I don't think I'll need it anymore but would definitely buy it again if I do. I have been able to get my hubby to zip it up and down for me and that works well too. Overall quality of materials is fine. Fit is a tighter cut. Sizes do run small and if you have a belly I recommend the next size up. Buttons for pockets stick. A metal cleaner may help. Coyote brown is closer to khaki. If in Aussie brown, and more authentic than others on the market (ie Alpha Industries in BTUs), although more of a light brown than black but more durable as I don't expect them to bleed in the rain or soak up moisture like black versions tend to do (at this price point I expect durability over looks). Only wore a few times. Overall satisfied.

Fits perfectly. A great addition to my outer winter gear. Lightweight. The nylon seems strong. I look like a flyin' salesman when i put it on. Only thing that is lacking is a pocket for an iPOD. The zipper stops at the top of the waist, so you don't have a clean line down the side of the jacket, but i will say that it does not look bad. I do think this company needs to offer other color combinations. I'd pay to buy one that was tan and black for example.

Very warm and looks cool as heck. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I ordered a men's medium regular and it's pretty snug around the torso. Shoulder room was fine but my torso is 37 inches and it feels very tight. 190lbs. Went back and forth on the order and should have gone with a large. If I had it to do over again I would get a 3x or 4x. Would be awesome if there was an extra small for those of us with long torsos. I like my jackets to fit around my torso, but I hate having to constantly adjust the waist band when it's too tight.

very warm and well made. I am 6'2" and 210 pounds and ordered the 2X, the fit was just right. it is really warm but I found the waist zipper got in the way when bending over. I found a short rip stop rain break and replaced the waist with it and now the coat has less zipper but is better. i did not take off any stars because i think the design is really nice. this jacket does make me look very much like a black and yellow jet. I did purchase it for cold and wet conditions. My son purchased the very well made red version for hot climates and this will serve me very well for the Northeast US winter. This flight jacket can be personalized to your specific taste. I am not disappointed at all and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes military styles. I hope this review is helpful to you
