Sling Stud Mount Bipod

The Magpul Sling Stud QD Bipod gives a rifle a steady rest without needing a picatinny rail. It attaches to a sling swivel stud, the small threaded post fitted to the forend of many bolt-action and hunting rifles, so it suits traditional stocks as well as modern ones that carry a stud. Hunters and range shooters who shoot from the prone or off a bench get a stable two-point support under the forend.

• Sling Stud Mount — The top plate clamps onto a standard sling swivel stud, so a rail is not required on the rifle.
• QD Knob Attachment — A hand-turned knob beside the mounting plate tightens the clamp, letting you fit or remove the bipod in the field.
• Independently Adjustable Legs — Each leg extends on its own with a push-button release, so you can level the rifle on uneven ground.
• Folding Leg Hinges — The legs pivot at the body to stow against the forend when you are carrying the rifle.
• Cant Tension Knob — A large knurled knob under the body sets how freely the rifle cants, meaning tilts side to side to stay level on a slope.
• Rubber Feet — Black rubber feet on each leg grip hard surfaces and help keep the rifle from sliding.
• Polymer-Clad Legs — The legs are sheathed in Magpul polymer with molded grip ridges near the top for handling.
• Flat Dark Earth Finish — FDE, a sand-tan color, matches other tan furniture and accessories on the rifle.

Fit And Mounting

This bipod is built for rifles with a sling swivel stud on the forend. If your rifle carries a picatinny rail instead, look for the rail-mount version of the Magpul bipod. The body and legs are FDE with black controls, mounting plate and feet, and the Magpul logo is molded into the housing.
