Incredibly disappointing 0 people found this helpful

    Overall Rating

I purchased this for for my browning long range with high expectations as I’ve come to expect quality from Magpul. ( I’ve got Magpul on just about every firearm I own) but this garbage is terrible. It sits way to high at its lowest position. There’s no 45 position to compensate. The cant is a terrible feature and can’t really be eliminated no matter how hard you tighten the knob. The plastic nut and threaded part for tightening down on the sling mount was incredibly hard to turn and I’m pretty sure I stripped it while finger tightening it, then had to use plier to get it off. I still love Magpul but am immensely disappointed with this product.

Worst part is that I tried canceling the order less than two hours after placing it since I got cold feet and the price is pretty high on my budget, but the cancellation never went through. Deciding to keep it once it arrived was a mistake.

3 on 3 different systems. 0 people found this helpful

    I have 3 of these.
They’re my go to if a rifle needs a bipod.
Super stable, fairly light weight, and quiet.
Only thing you have to make sure of is that your sling mount is in the right position. I have one on a browning BAR MK3 that I put a slight mount on behind the sling mount because it was far more stable that way. Anyway worth the price 10 fold.

1st Impression: quite good enough, but also very lightweight 0 people found this helpful

I am using this on a Tikka CTR in 6.5 CM. With the short barrel.
I got a Vortex AMG HD scope for its low weight (albeit the compromise in lens quality), and wanted a bipod that was also as low weight as possible. Two observations compared to reviews, and I reserve the right to edit the review after I actually try this platform at the range:
1) the rotation/tilt of the rifle on the bipod was claimed to be quite loose, in that you could not tighten the tension nut enough to stop tilt. I would say not true. I was able to tension with my fingers enough so that I am not worried about the tilt anymore than the Harris Bipod I use on a number of other heavier rifles.
2) the legs are not that wimpy and flexible that you will be wobbling all over the place. You can load them towards the front or rear just fine. Just as good as Harris bipods.

These two were my biggest concerns, from reading other reviews. But with my first tests in the house, this bipod seems quite fine and very lightweight. Let's see how it shoots though...
