Fit: I ordered medium for my 3.5" across the four finger knuckles, 7.5" wrist-to-fingertip hands and they are perfect.
I haven't tested the heat resistance but the pads across the knuckles protect from baton strikes very well (you won't feel it at the knuckles, only the wrist).
The leather palms have good feel and are grippy. They almost feel like my racquetball gloves.
Overall, a very good pair of gloves.
