The Mil-Tec USMC Combat Vest puts rifle magazines, a sidearm and small kit on one zip-front rig with its own belt, so you have one piece of gear to put on and nothing to assemble first. It is a commercial reproduction of the Marine Corps pattern, not original-issue gear. Airsoft players, re-enactors, range shooters and anyone who needs a ready-made loadout in olive drab will find it a straightforward starting point.

Features

• Front Magazine Pouches — Flapped pouches on the lower left and a row of slim pouches on the right chest are sized for M4/M16-type rifle magazines.
• Angled Pistol Holster — An adjustable universal holster sits on the lower front at an angle for a right-handed cross-draw.
• Hook-And-Loop Utility Pockets — Flapped pockets close with hook-and-loop (Velcro-type) fasteners, and the left chest pocket has a loop panel for a name tape or patch.
• Detachable LC2-Style Belt — The included pistol belt follows the US LC2 pattern, a wide eyeleted belt with a quick-release buckle, adjusts from 26 to 44 in (66 to 112 cm) and secures through six loops.
• Full-Length Front Zipper — A heavy zipper closes the front, backed by buckle straps at the top and bottom that take the load off it.
• Adjustable Waist — Three buckle straps on each side set the vest's waist between roughly 33 and 47 in (83 to 120 cm).
• PALS Webbing On The Back — Horizontal rows of stitched webbing on the back panel take MOLLE pouches, so you can add a pouch or a hydration carrier, or weave in camouflage material.
• Mesh Body And Interior Pockets — Open mesh lets heat escape, and two zippered interior pockets hold documents or maps flat against the body.
• Carry Handle — A grab handle at the top of the back lets you hang the vest up or pull it out of a vehicle.

Build And Fit

Mil-Tec is a German outfitter founded in 1995, and this vest is made from polyester Oxford fabric with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating rated to a 1,000 mm water column, enough to shrug off light rain. The padded shoulders spread the weight of loaded pouches, while the mesh panels keep the vest from trapping heat. The side and belt adjustments cover a wide range of builds, and you can wear the vest over a shirt or a light jacket.
