As the previous poster mentioned, mine was exactly as shown. It's a simple, black, no-frills web belt, but for a casual/weekend use, I think it's perfect. As mentioned in another reviewer's comment, I tried to remove the plastic-like retainer with my teeth and failed. Luckily, it didn't break. But for a few bucks, it's not a big deal to cut it off with a pair of pliers or cut-n-trim if it keeps slipping. Overall, seems sturdy and I'm pleased with the belt so far. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because the design is nothing too special. I think it's good value for your money, but nothing to really rave about, either. For what it is, it's good. Update: Well I don't have a pair of pliers, but thankfully I had a little Swiss army knife and cut it off. It wasn't really a big deal to cut with the knife and didn't affect the design at all.

The real military web belt!

These are the same quality web belts I was issued by Uncle Sam. This style and material of belt works great with my Dickies cargo pants and shorts. The old hard to open slide is still perfect. For casual wear, or out in the wild. this web belt is a must! It is also great with a belt loop on your BDU pants! These are tough and made to last! Buy a half dozen of them, in different colors, and make some quick money, selling them to the public, right out of your closet. A steal at this price! You'll want more!
