Mossberg 500SP Persuader (Pistol Grip Package)

Persuader Pump Shotgun

The Mossberg 500SP Persuader is a pump-action shotgun built for home defense and duty-style use, where a dependable manual action matters more than anything fancy. This Pistol Grip Package pairs the full synthetic stock shown with a pistol grip option, so one gun can be set up for shouldered shooting or compact handling. It suits first-time shotgun owners as well as shooters who already know the Mossberg 500 platform and want a plain, working configuration.

Features

• Pump-Action Operation — You cycle each shell by sliding the forend back and forward, a manual action that does not depend on ammunition power to run.
• Pistol Grip Package — The package configuration gives you a pistol grip setup alongside the full stock, letting you choose how the gun handles.
• Black Synthetic Stock — The full-length stock is molded synthetic, which shrugs off moisture and knocks better than wood.
• Ribbed Synthetic Forend — Grooves around the forend give your support hand a secure hold while you work the action.
• Tang-Mounted Safety — The safety sits on top of the receiver behind the action, where your thumb reaches it from either side.
• Bead Front Sight — A simple bead at the muzzle gives a fast aiming reference at typical shotgun distances.
• Extended Magazine Tube — The tubular magazine under the barrel runs nearly to the muzzle, as the photo shows.
• Matte Black Finish — The receiver and barrel carry a dark, low-glare finish that matches the black furniture.

The Mossberg 500 Platform

The Persuader is part of Mossberg's 500 series, one of the most widely used pump shotgun designs in the US. Because the platform is so common, aftermarket stocks, forends, sights and accessories made for the Mossberg 500 are easy to find when you want to change the setup later. Check gauge, barrel length and capacity against the listing details before you order.
