Description
O.F. Mossberg & Sons, more commonly known as Mossberg, is an American arms manufacturer that was founded in 1919 by Swedish-born Oscar Frederick Mossberg alongside his two sons. Mossberg came to the United States in 1886, where he worked in a bicycle factory owned by Iver Johnson. Though the company was founded on the Mossberg Brownie, a four-barreled handgun chambered in .22 LR, it is now known the world over for producing exceptional rifles and shotguns.
We here at Keepshooting.com believe in the Mossberg brand. As such we have chosen to become an official Mossberg stocking dealer, which means a couple of different things. It means we have committed to stocking a wide variety of Mossberg’s finest rifles and shotguns. Not only that, but we will also have exclusive opportunities to check out new products as they are released. Finally, our commitment means that we will be getting these firearms at excellent prices and will, as always, pass those savings on to you. Many of those firearms are currently on sale in our web store. Today, we add the Mossberg 715T to a long line of fine products.
With the Mossberg 715T, the company has officially thrown its hat into the affordable rimfire AR-15 market. The Mossberg 715T is everything you want from an actual AR-15 in a package that is available for a fraction of the price. It is perfect for training for the real deal without worrying about recoil and a sky-high ammunition bill. Worried about reliability? You should not be. The 715T is based on the operating system found in the reliable Mossberg 702 autoloader. You want accessories? The 715T features a flat top receiver alongside a quad rail handguard that makes mounting lights, lasers, grips and other tactical equipment the simplest of tasks. And just like its big brother, the 715T features a six-position adjustable stock that changes the length of pull from 10 1/2 inches to 14 1/4 inches – perfect for younger marksmen.
The Mossberg 715T features a 16 1/4 inch blued barrel alongside an overall length that measures approximately 33 inches. The blued finish found on the barrel serves to protect it from rust and corrosion as well as arming it with a higher resistance to wear. As noted, the 715T also features an adjustable stock. This synthetic stock combines with a polymer receiver and handguard for a rifle that weighs in at just 5 1/2 pounds, making it easily handled by shooters of all ages. The 715T also includes the aforementioned flat top receiver that is ready to accept any of the shooter's preferred optics, should he or she opt not to use the included A2-style back-up sights, each of which is fully adjustable. Other features found on this rifle include an A2-style muzzle brake as well as a single, reduced-capacity, 10-round magazine.

This is a great gun for the money that nobody should pass up. The only downside is that the gun is a little tough to clean.
Fun gun that is a great price.
