Replacement mag for older ParaGot this for my buddys P-13 that came with only one mag when he bought it used. Dropped right in, no fitting needed which is always nice with these older Para double stacks. We put maybe 150 rounds through it at the range last weekend, mix of Blazer brass and some handloads, ran everything fine. Customer service at keepshooting answered a question I had about compatibility real quick so thats a plus. Only knocked a star off cause the baseplate feels a little loose but nothing that effects function.
Feeds both factory and handloads no problem
No witness holes to check round count

Fits P-13 and P-12 without modificationActually bought this because factory Para mags dried up years ago and my P-13 was down to two unreliable originals that nosedived on the last round. Figured it'd be a stopgap, something to keep the gun running until I found "real" mags. Expected mediocre, probably wouldn't lock back, maybe just range use only. Then I discovered it's also perfect for: my Para P-12 that somehow accepts it and runs flawlessly, my buddy's P-14 that he's been feeding 1911 mags with reduced capacity, as a backup in my range bag when someone shows up with a Para and no spares, and honestly just keeping a classic double-stack .45 alive when the factory abandoned it. The follower is anti-tilt, smooth, no binding even when dirty. Construction is legit steel body, not the polymer that cracks when you look at it wrong. Mine's been through maybe 600 rounds of mixed ball and hollow point, dropped on concrete, left loaded for months. No dents, no feed lip spread, the spring is still positive. The baseplate is flat, doesn't print, drops free every time. The witness holes actually show round count, unlike some where "full" is a guess.

OEM Para mags are getting scarce, grab emIf you own a Para P-13 or P-12 you already know how hard it is to find factory mags for these guns. I've been nursing 2 beat up mags for the last 5 years so when I saw these brand new I ordered 4 without even thinking about it. Steel body, polymer follower, they drop free and lock in just like the ones that came with my P-13 back in the day. 13 rounds of 45 in a 1911 frame is still one of the coolest things Para ever did.
