Features
- Dual-Sided Construction — One side is heavy-duty nylon for durability while the reverse is aluminized to reflect body heat back to you.
- Six Reinforced Grommets — 2X reinforced metal grommets with black corner patches let you stake, tie, or lash the blanket into a real shelter or tarp.
- Heat-Reflective Barrier — The reflective aluminum surface bounces radiant heat back toward your body or reflects the warmth of a nearby fire.
- Blaze Orange Exterior — High-visibility orange makes the blanket easy to spot for signaling and rescue in the field.
- Waterproof and Windproof — The sealed nylon face sheds rain and blocks wind to keep you dry and protected from the elements.
- Full 60 x 82 Inch Size — Measures 5 feet by 7 feet (1.53m x 2.13m), large enough to wrap up in, build a lean-to, or cover a load.
- Compact and Lightweight — At 12 ounces (340 grams) it packs down small enough to fit any backpack, haversack, or vehicle kit.
- Multi-Use Shelter System — Rig it as an A-frame tarp, ground cloth, lean-to, poncho, or fire reflector depending on your needs.
- Designed by Self Reliance Outfitters — Built by The Pathfinder School to be one of the strongest survival blankets available.

Way better than cheap space blanketsIve gone through so many of those flimsy mylar space blankets that rip the second you unfold them so I finally tried this one and its a HUGE upgrade. The nylon side is actually tough and the aluminum side reflects heat really well, used it as a ground tarp on a cold night out hunting and stayed dry. The 6 grommets are solid and I can actually rig this up as a shelter between trees which you cant do with those disposable ones.
Way more durable than regular mylar emergency blankets
Grommets let you set it up as a shelter or tarp -
Replaced All My Cheap Space BlanketsHonestly I was skeptical at first cause ive been burned by survival blankets that rip the second you open em but this pathfinder one is totally different, the nylon on the outside doesnt feel like it would tear if you looked at it wrong. Used it as a ground tarp on a wet camping trip and the reflective side kept the moisture from coming through from underneath which was awesome. It does take up a bit more space in the bag compared to those paper-thin throwaways but I dont mind at all cause this one is actually reusable and feels like it'll last for years.
Reusable and durable unlike disposable mylar blankets
Takes up more pack space than single-use emergency blankets
