PMC Bronze 38 Super +P

38 Super +P Range Ammo

PMC Bronze 38 Super +P is a box of 50 full metal jacket pistol cartridges for practice, training and plinking with a 38 Super handgun. Each round carries a 130 grain bullet rated at 1,100 fps at the muzzle. The ammunition is consistent and reasonably priced, so shooters who run a 38 Super often use it for range sessions where expensive defensive loads would be wasted.

Features

• 38 Super Auto +P Chambering — The +P marking means the round is loaded to higher pressure than a standard load, so fire it only in a pistol chambered for 38 Super and rated for +P ammunition.
• 130 Grain Bullet — Grain is the standard unit for bullet weight, and 130 grains is a common practice weight for this cartridge.
• Full Metal Jacket — A copper jacket covers the bullet's rounded nose, which helps it feed smoothly from the magazine and leaves less lead fouling in the barrel.
• 1,100 FPS Muzzle Velocity — The box lists 1,100 feet per second as the speed of the bullet as it leaves the muzzle.
• Brass Cases — Each cartridge uses a brass case, the conventional material for centerfire pistol ammunition.
• Centerfire Ignition — The primer sits in the center of the case head, the standard ignition system for modern handgun ammunition.
• 50 Rounds Per Box — The cartridges come in a single 50-round card box printed with caliber, bullet weight and velocity on the end flap.
• Made In Korea — PMC produces this ammunition in Korea, as printed on the box.

Build And Compatibility

Bronze is PMC's line of FMJ target ammunition, built for volume shooting and drills more than for self-defense. This load is made for handguns chambered in 38 Super Auto. Because it is loaded to +P pressure, check your pistol's markings or manual before firing it, and do not use it in older firearms chambered for .38 ACP. The SKU on the box end is 38SA.
