My third European air force shirt from these guysBought this because I already had the Spanish and Italian versions and I'm a completist. Figured Portugal would be the weakest link, smallest air force, probably got the leftovers. Expected thin fabric, crooked printing, weird sizing. Then I discovered it's also perfect for barbecues where I want to look like I traveled more than I have, the gym since it wicks better than it has any right to, my go-to travel shirt because it packs small and doesn't wrinkle, and honestly just representing a NATO ally that doesn't get enough love most Americans can't find Portugal on a map. Construction is solid same weight as my Spanish one, heavier than the Italian. Mine's been to three states, two countries, one music festival. Washed in hotel sinks, dried over balcony rails, stuffed in carry-ons. The eagle logo is still crisp, no cracking, no peeling at the edges. The blue is distinctive without screaming "look at me." For what surplus stores charge for repro junk, this is actual issued kit. Some guys only want US stuff, but real collectors know the good stuff is overseas.

Very small sizes. A large is unwearable, too small. An XL is more like a large.
