Great replacementMy Remington 597 has always been a reliable accurate rifle that came with crappy mags and replacements were expensive and the same junk. These mags seem to be better quality and lot better priced.

Works GreatFinally got around to ordering a couple spare mags for my 597. Shipping was fast, had em in like 4 days. They drop in and lock up tight, no wiggle at all. Been running CCI mini mags and Federal bulk through them with zero issues.

Reliable 597 MagsThe 597 is a great rifle but the magazine situation has always been the weak spot, especially since Remington discontinued the gun and OEM mags got hard to find. Bought 4 of these to take advantage of the bulk discount and Im glad I did, theyve all worked flawlessly through about 1000 rounds of mixed ammo. Federal, CCI, Winchester white box, even some old Remington Thunderbolts I had laying around, ate everything no problem. The smooth follower really does help with rim lock cause I used to get that constantly with a ProMag I had.
Bulk pricing means you can afford to keep 4 loaded in the range bag
loading the last few rounds can be a pain until its broken in.

Solid replacement mag, no complaintsI shoot a lot of CCI standard velocity through my 597 and these mags handle it with zero drama every single time. The 10 round capacity is totally fine for me since I like to shoot deliberate and slow anyway, and honestly the 10 rounders sit flush under the rifle better than the bigger extended mags which is great when shooting off a rest or bipod. I did notice a faint plastic smell right out of the package but that went away quick and didnt affect anything. Reliable affordable and exactly what I needed to keep my 597 running smooth.

Better than OEMWAYY better than the original Remington mag that came with my rifle. Steel feed lips not that flimsy plastic the ProMags use, which is honestly why I came looking for this one after my ProMag 22 rounder cracked after about a year. Solid mag, gonna order 2 more.
Way better than the originals and WAY WAY better than the other aftermarket.
