Romanian Issue 90L Pack

This is a Romanian Army field rucksack with a 90-liter main pack and a smaller assault pack, a compact bag you can unclip and carry on its own for short moves away from the main load. It is made to carry multi-day kit on the march, and the whole set is printed in Woodland DPM camouflage. Hikers and campers who need serious volume will find it useful, and so will collectors and reenactors who want issued Eastern European gear.

Features

• 90-Liter Main Compartment — The large top-loading body holds a sleeping bag, spare clothing and rations for extended trips.
• Detachable Assault Pack — A smaller bag buckles onto the front of the rucksack and comes off when you only need essentials for a day's outing.
• Two Side Pockets — Flapped pockets on each side keep water bottles, cooking gear or wet-weather layers within reach.
• Buckled Lid With Top Straps — The lid closes over the main compartment with quick-release buckles, and two straps on top can secure a rolled mat.
• Front Compression Straps — Webbing straps across the front, including a crossed pair, pull the load tight so it rides close and stays steady.
• Molded Back Panel — A slotted plastic frame sheet behind the back padding spreads the weight and keeps the pack's shape under a heavy load.
• Padded Hip Belt — A buckled waist belt moves much of the weight off your shoulders and onto your hips on long walks.
• Woodland DPM Camouflage — DPM, short for Disruptive Pattern Material, is a brushstroke camouflage of greens, browns, tan and black for temperate woodland.
• Nylon Construction — The body is made from nylon fabric and fitted with olive webbing and matching plastic hardware.

Romanian Army Issue

This pack was originally issued to the Romanian Army, not made for the commercial market. The main pack and the assault pack share the same nylon shell, olive webbing and buckles, so the two work as one system. Because it is genuine government kit, it has real provenance for a collection or an authentic impression, and the load capacity and layout were built for soldiers carrying full field loads.
