This is a Romanian Army field pack, a flapped shoulder bag sized for the small items a soldier needs within reach: rations, a map, gloves, a few tools. Features

• Cotton And Nylon Construction — The body is made from a cotton and nylon fabric with a canvas-like hand and stitched seams along the edges.
• Full-Width Top Flap — A deep flap folds over the whole opening and hangs well down the front, which helps keep rain and dirt off the contents.
• Twin Strap-And-Buckle Closure — Two webbing straps run down the front to metal buckles near the base, so you can cinch the flap tight over a full or half-empty load.
• Herringbone Twill Webbing — The straps use herringbone twill, a dense zigzag weave long used on military webbing because it resists stretching and fraying.
• Adjustable Shoulder Strap — A metal slide buckle sets the strap length for shoulder carry or a cross-body sling.
