    Eastern Bloc/Warsaw Pact countries may have had shoddy/questionable quality consumer goods, but their military products, specifically the uniforms and field gear, are almost always surprisingly good (Czech Cold War surplus items are excellent all the way around). This Romanian over the shoulder field bag is made of good quality heavy duty canvas with several nylon/polyester material gear straps. Its construction is well done, they didn’t scrimp on the sewing. Whether you’re going hiking, hunting, bird watching, whatever, this is a great bag to carry gear in. The shoulder strap is comfortable, too!

    Nearly indestructible.

    The buckles are not quick release. Don’t be in a hurry to open this pack up.
