Rothco Hydration Pack

Rothco Hydration Pack

The Rothco Hydration Pack is a black daypack with a drinking tube built into the carry, so you can take water on the move without stopping to dig out a bottle. It suits hikers, range-goers, cyclists and anyone who spends a long day outdoors and wants water and essentials in one bag. Rothco is a long-running maker of military-style and outdoor gear, and this pack follows that plain, practical approach.

Features

• Hands-Free Drinking Tube — A clear tube runs up and over the shoulder strap to a bite valve, a mouthpiece that releases water only when you bite down on it.
• Zippered Main Compartment — The large main section opens on a zipper that runs around the top of the pack for easy loading.
• Front Zippered Compartment — A second zippered section on the front keeps smaller gear apart from the main load.
• Front Zip Pocket — A horizontal zippered pocket on the front panel holds keys, a phone or a map within quick reach.
• Mesh Front Pocket — An open mesh pocket below lets you see what is inside and lets damp items air out.
• Side Compression Straps — Buckled straps on each side cinch the pack down so a partial load does not shift as you walk.
• Padded Shoulder Straps — Padded straps spread the weight of a full pack across your shoulders.
• Top Grab Handle — A carry handle on top makes it easy to pick up the pack or hang it on a hook.

Layout And Carry

The pack carries like a standard backpack, with the drinking tube routed along the strap so the bite valve sits near your chin. Several front pockets and two zippered compartments give you room to separate snacks, layers and small kit from the water supply. The all-black finish looks at home on the trail, at the range or in town.
