worth it if you get a good pair, gamble

I ordered two pairs of these. One pair was fine, rubber is thin but covers your shoes. The other pair, the rubber was old, melted, and it tore instantly. I could see there was a problem before I opened the package. Not sure why the person who packed it did not see that the rubber already melted and tearing...
