6.8 SPC Factory Magazine

This is Ruger's own 25-round magazine for the SR-556 rifle chambered in 6.8mm Remington SPC (Special Purpose Cartridge), a heavier round than 5.56 that still fits the AR-15 action. Use it to replace a worn magazine or to add spares for the range or a hunting trip. Because the 6.8 SPC case is fatter than 5.56, a standard AR-15 magazine will not feed it reliably, so you need a magazine built for this cartridge.

Build And Compatibility

The magazine fits Ruger SR-556 rifles in 6.8 SPC and AR-15 style rifles chambered in 6.8 SPC. It also works in AR-15 rifles chambered in 224 Valkyrie, a cartridge built on the same case family. It is not compatible with the Ruger SR-556E, so check your rifle's model designation before ordering.
