Fixed-Blade Rescue Knife

The Smith & Wesson Search & Rescue Knife is a full-size fixed blade for camp work, vehicle kits and field use. The blade does not fold, so there is no hinge or lock to fail. A ribbed rubberized handle and a steel crossguard keep your hand where it belongs when the blade is wet or the work gets heavy. It ships with a belt sheath that has its own accessory pouch, so you can wear it straight out of the box.

• Clip Point Blade — The spine dips down toward the tip to give a fine, controllable point for piercing and detail cuts, with a long belly behind it for slicing.
• Black Stainless Steel — The stainless blade has a black coating that cuts glare and adds a layer of protection against corrosion.

Blade, Grip and Sheath

The knife is 10.38 inches long overall, with a blade of roughly 6 inches and 0.12 inches thick. That size handles cutting rope, webbing and light camp chores. The sheath has a cord at the side and eyelets at the tip, so you can tie it down to your leg or pack and stop it swinging. Made in China.
