Green Tracer .45 Auto

SuperNova Green Tracer is .45 ACP pistol ammunition with a bright green trace, so you can see where each shot goes. A tracer round carries a compound in the base of the bullet that ignites when fired and burns as the bullet travels, leaving a visible streak along its flight path. Shooters use it to watch trajectory, check point of impact at a glance, and make a range day with a .45 a little more interesting.

Features

• .45 ACP Caliber — Marked .45 Auto on the box, the same cartridge as .45 ACP, for pistols and carbines chambered in it such as the 1911.
• 225 Grain FMJ Bullet — The full metal jacket fully encases the bullet in a metal shell, which helps it feed reliably and keeps lead fouling down.
• Bright Green Tracer — The tracer element burns green in flight, so you can follow each round from muzzle to target.
• 1,070 FPS Muzzle Velocity — The bullet leaves the barrel at about 1,070 feet per second (326 m/s).
• Brass Cases — Cartridges are loaded in brass cases.
• Boxer Primers — A Boxer primer has a single central flash hole, the type handloaders need if they plan to reload the brass.

Using Tracer Rounds

The burning tracer compound can start a fire in dry grass or brush, so pick your backstop and conditions with that in mind. Many ranges do not allow tracers at all, and rules vary by location, so check before you bring a box along. Keep the ammunition out of reach of children, as the box warning states.
