Supernova Red Tracer Non-Corrosive .22 Long Rifle 40-Grain Lead Round Nose Rimfire Ammunition - 50 Rounds

Red Tracer .22 LR

Supernova Red Tracer is standard .22 Long Rifle rimfire ammunition that burns a bright red streak in flight, so you can watch exactly where each round goes. Each bullet carries a small pyrotechnic charge in its base that ignites on firing, drawing a visible trace downrange that holds up past 100 yards in daylight or dark. It suits range shooters who want to see their trajectory, trainers teaching lead and hold, and anyone running a .22 for low-cost plinking with a visual payoff.

Features

• .22 Long Rifle Rimfire — Standard rimfire chambering, so the primer sits in the rim of the case and the firing pin strikes the edge rather than the center.
• 40-Grain Lead Round Nose — A 40-grain LRN bullet, the common weight and shape for .22 LR, feeds reliably through tube and box magazines alike.
• Bright Red Tracer — A pyrotechnic compound in the bullet base lights on firing and marks the flight path in vivid red.
• Visible Past 100 Yards — The trace stays readable beyond 100 yards whether you shoot in full daylight or low light.
• Brass Case — Drawn brass cases for consistent chambering and extraction.
• Non-Corrosive Primer — The priming compound leaves no corrosive salts behind, so routine cleaning keeps your bore in good shape.
• Roughly 1070 FPS — Leaves the muzzle at about 1,070 feet per second, a standard-velocity load for .22 LR.
• Rifle And Semi-Auto Ready — Built to run in bolt, lever, and semi-automatic .22 firearms.
• 50 Rounds Per Box — Packed 50 cartridges to the box.

Build And Use

Tracer ammunition shows you the arc of the round in real time, which makes it a practical teaching tool for reading trajectory and a straightforward way to check point of impact at distance. These are loaded in brass cases with non-corrosive primers, so they shoot clean and store well. Note that tracers throw sparks downrange and should only be used on ranges and ground where that is safe and permitted. Keep them off dry brush and away from anything flammable.
