30 Cal Mini Compensator

The Synergy Mini Comp is a compact .30 caliber compensator for AR-10 rifles with 14.5 inch barrels. A compensator vents propellant gas through side and top ports to cut muzzle rise and recoil, so the rifle settles back on target faster between shots. At 1.6 inches long, it brings a 14.5 inch barrel to 16.1 inches overall. That lets a pinned-and-welded build meet the 16 inch legal minimum while keeping the rifle short and handy.

Pin-And-Weld Ready

US federal law sets 16 inches as the minimum barrel length for a rifle. A 14.5 inch barrel can meet it when a muzzle device is pinned and welded in place, which makes the device a permanent part of the barrel. This comp was sized for that job on a 14.5 inch AR-10 barrel with 5/8x24 threads. Have the pinning and welding done by a qualified gunsmith, and check your state's rules before you build.
