The Tru-Spec Contractor Cap is a six-panel ball cap built to carry identification patches. Loop fields on the front, top and back hold a flag, a name tape or glint tape, so the people around you can tell who you are and which side you are on. Tru-Spec designed it for contractors working overseas under U.S. State Department dress requirements, and it works just as well on the range or in the field. The coyote colorway is a light tan-brown that pairs with most tactical and outdoor kit.

Build And Fit

Tru-Spec is a commercial maker of tactical clothing, and this cap uses the same cotton-blend ripstop found in a lot of duty uniforms. The loop panels sit flush with the fabric, so a cap without patches still looks clean. Fit is set by the rear strap, and a tonal Tru-Spec logo is embroidered on the underside edge of the bill.
