This is a 30-round polymer magazine for AK-47 pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm, the standard AK cartridge. US Palm molds stainless steel into the top of the body, where the magazine hooks into the rifle and where plain polymer magazines wear first. It comes in Flat Dark Earth (FDE), a sand-brown tan, for shooters running tan or desert-toned setups.

Build And Fit

The magazine follows the curved AK-47 profile and locks in the usual way: hook the front catch into the magazine well, then rock it back until the rear tab clicks under the magazine release. Both of those contact points are stainless steel, so repeated reloads bear on metal rather than polymer. It is built for AK-pattern rifles in 7.62x39mm and is not intended for 5.45x39mm or 5.56mm AK variants.
