M24 Aircrew Mask Carrier

This is the US-issue carrier for the M24 chemical-biological aircraft mask, the protective mask made for aircrew rather than ground troops. It is a flat, wide canvas bag that slings at your side on a webbing strap, sized to keep a mask and its accessories together. Collectors use it to complete an aviation CB kit, reenactors use it for correct period gear, and plenty of buyers just carry it as a tough olive drab shoulder bag.

• Genuine US Military Issue — Original government-issue gear, stencilled "US" on the front panel.
• M24 Aircraft Stencil — Black lettering reads "MASK, CHEMICAL BIOLOGICAL AIRCRAFT, M24," naming the exact mask this bag was issued to carry.
• OD Green Canvas Body — The bag is olive drab (OD green), the standard US service color, in a heavy woven canvas.
• Adjustable Webbing Shoulder Strap — A long nylon webbing strap with a slide buckle lets you set the carry height across the body or over one shoulder.
• Metal Snap Hook Attachments — Spring-gated snap hooks clip the strap to D-rings on the bag, so it can be unclipped or swapped quickly.
• Hook-And-Loop Closure — A strip of hook-and-loop fastener, the Velcro-style grip tape, runs along the opening to keep the contents sealed in.
