SFLCS Admin Pouch

An admin pouch keeps the paper side of a mission where you can reach it: maps, notes, cards and small documents that would otherwise be crumpled in a cargo pocket. This one was issued as part of the Special Forces Load Carrying System (SFLCS), the modular load-bearing kit fielded to US special operations personnel. It mounts flat on the chest of a vest or plate carrier, or anywhere else with PALS webbing.

Features

• 1000D Cordura Nylon — The body is cut from 1000-denier Cordura, a heavy, tightly woven nylon that resists abrasion and holds its shape under load.
• Loop-Faced Exterior — The flap and front panel are covered in loop fabric, the soft half of hook-and-loop, so you can mount patches, name tapes or ID panels across the face.
• Hook-and-Loop Flap Closure — The fold-over flap fastens to a hook strip inside the pocket mouth, keeping papers in while still opening one-handed.
• Internal Loop Panel — A second loop field lines the inside, giving you a place to fix smaller patches, markers or Velcro-backed accessories out of sight.
• Grommet Strip — A reinforced webbing strip inside the pouch carries three black metal grommets.
• MOLLE-Compatible Straps — Two vertical straps weave through PALS webbing, the rows of stitched nylon loops on modern vests and packs, to lock the pouch in place.
• Snap-Down Retention — Each strap closes with a snap at the bottom, and a third snap sits between them, so the pouch stays put once mounted.
• Low-Profile Size — At approximately 7 inches high by 7 inches wide by 0.5 inches deep, it sits flat against the chest without getting in the way of a rifle stock.
• Issue Khaki Color — Finished in standard khaki to match the rest of the SFLCS components.

The rear label reads ADMIN POUCH with NSN 8465-01-529-1552 and contract number W911QY-08-D-0011, marking it as government-contracted kit rather than a commercial copy. An NSN (National Stock Number) is the military's catalog code for a specific item, which makes it easy to confirm what you are holding and match it to other SFLCS pieces. Production for this system is attributed to Eagle Industries in the United States. It is a practical pouch for anyone running a carrier, and a straightforward addition for collectors and reenactors building out an SFLCS loadout.
