Italian Army Drop-Leg Rig

The Vega PA270 is a nylon thigh holster issued to the Italian Army. It moves the pistol off the belt and down onto the leg, where it stays clear of body armor, packs and vest pouches and remains within easy reach. A spare magazine rides alongside the gun, so the whole sidearm setup sits on one rig.

Features

• Drop-Leg Design — The holster hangs from the belt on a long webbing strap and sits on the outer thigh, below the clutter of a loaded belt or plate carrier.
• Quick-Release Belt Hanger — A side-release buckle on the vertical strap lets you take the rig off the belt without unthreading anything.
• Twin Leg Straps — Two adjustable webbing straps wrap the thigh and close with their own quick-release buckles to keep the holster from swinging when you move.
• Hook-And-Loop Retention Strap — A flap over the back of the pistol fastens with hook-and-loop (Velcro-type) tape and holds the gun in place until you pull it free.
• Integrated Magazine Pouch — A pouch sewn to the side of the holster carries one spare pistol magazine next to the gun.
• Pistol Lanyard Cord — An attached cord can be clipped to the pistol so it cannot be dropped and lost in the field.
• Nylon Construction — Heavy woven nylon fabric and webbing keep the rig light and resistant to wet and abrasion.
• OD Green Finish — Fabric, webbing and buckles are all olive drab green, the standard military field color.
