This is a recoil spring for the Czech vz.61 Skorpion, the compact .32 ACP machine pistol issued to Czechoslovak Army vehicle crews and exported widely during the Cold War. The recoil spring absorbs the bolt's rearward travel after each shot and drives it forward again to chamber the next round.
