Excellent! I am 6'3" tall and this coat fits perfect with a lot of space. This would be a good one for someone 5'10" or shorter. It has extra zipper pockets, an excellent fleece lined pocket and extra zipper pockets on the arms, also an inner-puffy jacket pocket for gloves or a warm cap. All pockets are easy to get to with gloves on.

I'm usually about a 3x and I went with the 4x as advised by a review. I ordered it, but did not expect the size to be 3" longer than my military standard-issue one and almost 2" wider in the shoulders and torso area. If I wanted it as a wind breaker or a "let's get cozy around the house type of jacket, I would have purchased the larger size and loved it. I returned it for the next one down. Hope this info is helpful to future buyers. Overall it was very comfortable, light weight with thick but fleecy interior and looks fantastic. The button up/pockets on the left hand side will also allow it to fit well under the vest harness I use with it. My next one was an XL. I hope this works.

Very comfortable, true fit, not bulky and best of all warm! If you like to layer, the sleeves can be folded back and still leave you room for a T-shirt underneath and even with my girth, I was able to roll up the cuffs for some sleeve free wrist access! My ONLY qualm was the jacket is a shade or so darker in color than what is pictured. Not that it detracts at all from the beauty of this work of war apparel!

Very nice, in excellent condition. Looks just like my GDR original. Good quality material. I have had several military issue cold weather jackets and by far this one is the best. Highly recommended. This one can take a lot of wear and still keep you warm. This jacket was well beyond my expectations and for half the price of other places that sell "German Military Issue" items.
