Best Cuff Key I've OwnedI've been through probably a dozen handcuff keys over 14 years on the job... the little S&W keys that come with the cuffs, generic knockoffs that say "compare to Zak Tools," and a couple ASP keys. This ZT12C is hands down the best one. The carbon fiber body gives it a really nice feel and it's crazy lightweight for how solid it is. 4.25 inches is the sweet spot for grip without being too bulky in the pocket. Heat treated stainless bit slides into my Peerless 801s and my S&W 100s without any slop or wiggle. The double lock pin works great too. Made in USA with a lifetime warranty for under ten bucks... I mean come on. I bought three more to stash in various places.

Fast shipping and works as advertised.I was surprised at how fast this arrived after I ordered it. It fits all the standard cuffs we use at the site, including my Peerless and Smith & Wesson pairs. The pocket clip is nice because it stays put, but the body of the key is a little thicker than a normal pen in my pocket.

Lightweight and durable handcuff keyI work in campus security and after bending my second cheap handcuff key I decided to invest in something better. This Zak Tool key is in a completely different league compared to the flimsy keys that come packaged with handcuffs. The carbon fiber body is super lightweight so I barely notice it in my pocket and the heat treated tip feels like it could last forever. It has worked perfectly on every brand of handcuffs I have used it with so far. I only gave four stars because I wish it came with some kind of clip or lanyard attachment built into the design.
