Description
A Positive ID Patch
This Mil-Spec Monkey patch shows A positive blood type in large white embroidery on a black field, so a medic or first responder can read it at a glance in an emergency. It sticks to the loop panel on a plate carrier, pack, cap or jacket sleeve and comes off just as easily when you move it between kits. Shooters, hikers, preppers and anyone who carries field gear wear it to keep critical medical information in plain sight.
Features
- Large Blood Type Letter — The "A" takes up nearly half the patch, so it stays readable from a distance and in poor light.
- Rh Factor Shown Twice — A plus symbol and the word "POS" both mark the Rh factor, the positive or negative part of a blood type, which leaves less room for misreading.
- Embroidered Construction — The lettering is stitched in thread rather than printed, so it holds up to abrasion and repeated handling.
- Black And White Colorway — White lettering on a black background gives strong contrast while staying low-key on dark gear.
- Hook Fastener Back — Hook material sewn to the reverse grips any loop panel, the soft fuzzy side of a hook-and-loop closure.
- Compact 1 x 2 Inch Size — At 1 x 2 in (about 2.5 x 5 cm), it fits small loop fields on caps, shoulders and pouch flags.
- Stitched Border — A dark overlocked edge wraps the perimeter to keep the patch from fraying.
- Part Of A Full Series — Mil-Spec Monkey makes the same design for all eight blood types, so every member of a group can wear a matching patch.
Fit and Attachment
The patch is nylon with embroidered lettering, and its hook back mounts to any surface carrying loop material. That covers the loop panels on most plate carriers, chest rigs, tactical caps and many packs and jacket sleeves. If your gear has no loop field, a sew-on or adhesive loop panel gives you a place to mount it.
