ABU Latex Glove Pouch

This small pouch was issued by the US Air Force to keep disposable latex gloves clean, dry and within reach on a vest, belt or pack. It mounts flat against your kit, so a fresh pair is a flap-lift away when you need to give first aid or handle something you would rather not touch bare-handed. Medics, security forces, first responders, ABU collectors and airsoft players running an Air Force loadout all have a use for it.

Features

• ABU Digital Tigerstripe — The pouch is printed in the Airman Battle Uniform pattern, the grey, green and tan pixelated camouflage worn by the US Air Force.
• Cordura Nylon Construction — Cordura is a heavy, abrasion-resistant nylon fabric that holds up to being dragged, packed and scraped in the field.
• MOLLE/PALS Compatible — Two webbing straps on the back weave through PALS, the rows of nylon loops on modern vests and packs, so you can mount the pouch wherever you want it.
• Hook-And-Loop Flap — A full-width flap closes with hook-and-loop fastener along both sides, which keeps the gloves covered and opens quickly with one hand.
• Holds Several Pairs — Depending on how they are folded, the pouch takes from two up to around five or six pairs of disposable gloves.
• Compact Footprint — At approximately 5 inches wide by 3.5 inches high (about 13 x 9 cm), it fits into small gaps on a carrier or belt.
• Drain Eyelet — A single eyelet low on the front panel lets moisture escape instead of collecting around the gloves.
• Room For Small Cards — The same pocket will carry medical cards, ID or a credit card if you would rather use it for documents.

This is genuine US Air Force issue from the ABU era, made in the matching pattern with foliage green binding and webbing to pair with Air Force uniforms and load-bearing gear of the same period. Because it was built to the service's own requirements, the stitching, binding and fabric weight are those of issued equipment, and the pouch has real provenance for collectors and reenactors assembling a correct ABU kit.
