Belgium OD TL-122D Flashlight

Belgian Issue Angle Light

This is a TL-122D right-angle flashlight issued to the Belgian Army, finished in OD green (olive drab, the standard military field color). The head sits at 90 degrees to the body, so you can clip the light to a belt, pack strap or jacket front and the beam points forward while your hands stay free. It suits field use, vehicle kits and collectors of Cold War era NATO equipment.

Features

• Right-Angle Head — The lens head is set perpendicular to the body, so the light shines ahead when clipped upright to your gear.
• TL-122D Molded Marking — The model designation is molded into a raised roundel on the side of the head housing.
• Signal Flag Emblem — A crossed signal flags roundel is molded into the opposite side of the head.
• Metal Belt Clip — A riveted spring-steel clip on the back slides over a belt, strap or webbing to carry the light hands free.
• Side Slide Switch — A slide switch on a screwed-down plate turns the light on and off, with a round push button below it.
• Knurled Lens Head — Two finely knurled rings, meaning they carry a fine ridged texture for grip, surround the reflector and lens at the front.
• O-Ring Sealed Tail Cap — A screw-off tail cap with a black rubber O-ring gives access to the battery compartment and seals the joint against moisture.
• Ribbed OD Green Body — Molded lengthwise ribs run down the body for a sure grip, including with gloves.

Genuine Military Issue

This flashlight comes from Belgian Army stores and is not a commercial copy. The angle-head layout, steel clip and sealed tail cap follow the pattern militaries used for decades because it is simple to carry and simple to service. For reenactors and collectors, the molded TL-122D designation and signal flag emblem tie the light to its military origin.
