It's solid canvas, has heavy duty metal zippers, heavy weight thread and grommets, double stitched. Perfect for a small duffel. If your traveling by car this isn't for you. It's more a overnight trip type bag. The metal zippers are solid. This isn't for heavy duty travel or going on a airplane. Great gym bag or weekend bag

What can I say it's manly and durable as hell. A work horse. The guy I bought it for has bought two others. A purple one, as I got him a green one, a small army and super tough as a tank and well made to go for long journeys and will take the weight of clothes, his computer and the many boxes of weapons. Yes he loves them all and goes to all three or four martial art classes and shows the martial art instructor, they too, love them too. Not very heavy duty when it comes to cleaning weapons, but that would spoil the canvas for any wearer I suppose.

I use this as my gym bag and it works great. It holds all of my workout clothes plus some extra stuff. The strap isn't very long so if you have a big head like me it will slip off your shoulder but other than that its perfect
