Black Canvas Map Case

Canvas Map Case

The Rothco Black Canvas Map Case follows the old military map case pattern: an upright shoulder bag that carries maps, documents, notebooks and a tablet flat and organized at your side. It is cut from heavyweight cotton canvas, closes with a two-snap flap, and has a front organizer pocket for pens and small items. Law enforcement officers, EMTs, firefighters and outdoor users carry it, and it works just as well as a plain everyday bag.

Features

• Heavyweight Cotton Canvas — The body is a dense, tightly woven cotton canvas that holds its shape and resists scuffing, with bound edges around the flap.
• Double Snap Closure — Two snap fasteners secure the front flap, so it opens with one pull and stays shut when you walk.
• Folding Side Flaps — The main flap extends into side panels that fold down over the gussets and cover the corners of the opening.
• Front Organizer Pocket — Inside the flap, a front pocket holds a small notebook or phone, and a snap-down panel with pen slots keeps writing tools upright.
• Rigid Inner Divider — A stiffened divider splits the main compartment and gives the bag a firm back, so maps and papers stay flat instead of curling.
• Removable Shoulder Strap — Cotton webbing clips to two D-rings on the back with swivel snap hooks, so you can unclip it entirely when you don't need it.
• Adjustable Strap Length — A slide buckle on the strap lets you set it for shoulder or cross-body carry.
• Compact Footprint — It measures approximately 12 x 8.5 x 4.5 in (30.5 x 21.6 x 11.4 cm), about the size of a standard tablet with room for a notebook beside it.

Construction And Carry

Rothco builds this case entirely from cotton canvas with black hardware: snaps on the flap, metal D-rings on webbing tabs at the back, and swivel hooks on the strap ends. The backboard and inner divider give the bag structure, so it stands upright and protects flat contents. The case is black throughout and wears plainly on duty or off it.
