    I ordered a size up for my son, because reviews said to do so, because of their fitting size. I should have stuck with his size, and went with the large, but the XL fit well enough, after I gave them to my grandson. These shorts were exactly what he wanted. The only problem is that I didn't order him any other colors, so he is ordering them.

    I ordered these and they fit as advertised. My previous Rothco shorts fit fine as long as I wear one layer underneath. I ordered these as I am on new prescription glasses and want a clear front. I can get two pairs for one. My son is a painter and is covered in toxic substances and I need shorts I can easily remove before I mess them up. I love my paint rollers and they are awesome with stainless handles but are a total pain in the *** to wash. These shorts look like I am on to something cool. The big cargo short has some limited leg room for 44's with a good 12 in front.

    The material used is thick and the overall design seems pretty well constructed, at least to my limited experience in that category of clothing. My teen-age grandson, to whom I am giving the gift, likes them a lot. He is not used to such large cargo pockets. The quality of workmanship seems quite adequate, but it will be a little difficult for him to wear the belt loops since they are fairly small in size and, since he wears a fairly snug belt when wearing other garments, it will be a challenge for him to find one that will fit.
