Rothco based these shorts on the cut of field-worn military paratrooper shorts, with large cargo pockets low on the thigh and two more across the seat. They work as everyday summer shorts that carry more than a standard pair: phone, wallet, keys, a multitool and a snack, with room left over. The khaki colorway goes with most casual and outdoor wardrobes, and it suits hiking, yard work, range days and travel.

Features

• Washed Cotton/Poly Twill — A 55% cotton, 45% polyester twill is washed before it ships, so it feels soft from the first wear while the polyester adds strength and resists shrinking.
• Six-Pocket Layout — Two front slash pockets, two side cargo pockets and two rear pockets give you six places to sort what you carry.
• Bellows Cargo Pockets — The side cargo pockets have pleated, bellows-style sides that expand to take bulkier items, and a flap closes over the top of each.
• Flapped Rear Pockets — Both rear pockets are large and covered with a flap, which helps keep a wallet or phone in place when you sit or move.
• Inner Drawstring Waistband — A drawstring inside the waistband lets you cinch the fit, with or without a belt.
• Zip Fly With Button Closure — A zipper fly and a single button at the waist close the front the same way regular trousers do.

Fabric and Fit

The twill is a durable diagonal weave common in workwear, and the cotton-polyester blend balances comfort against wear resistance. The cut is relaxed and straight, with the hem landing just above the knee. Because the drawstring tightens the waist from the inside, you can wear these comfortably between sizes or over a tucked shirt.
