Description
The British Home Office designed this British Police Commando Sweater to meet the needs of Home Office agents who work each day to keep the United Kingdom safe from threats. Borrowing from the military issued Commando sweater that has been on the front lines and worn by the British Royal Marines, the Home Office produced this exceptionally comfortable version for use by their officers.
The idea behind the development of the British Police Commando Sweater was to have a sweater available that could be worn by administrative, field operations, and front line officers who are attached to the Home Office. Since this sweater was made to support the needs of such a diverse range of officers, it does not come with any patches or unit insignia on it. The only identifying tag is a small discreet "Home Office" tag that is on the side towards the bottom of the sweater. Lack of patches or insignia makes this sweater perfect for civilians as it looks very stylish but does not have any military or police markings on it.

This jacket is so warm and soft and can layer well. Very happy with the purchase. 1 x small (female, 5'3" 115lbs, normally a size small in other brands). I usually wear a small/medium in my outerwear so this is definitely smaller than what I normally wear. Would be good for anyone who is on the shorter side, smaller framed, and prefers a slim fit. This will definitely layer well and the quality seems good.

The Sweater was not as well made as a Royal Army of Oman similar knit Sweater that I have but a very acceptable quality Sweater for it's price. Will update in 3 years when the other sweater wears out. But in its class this is one to get for very reasonable money. My spouse wore the product for the house for many years in and after the RAOB! Expressed no regret or issues over time with it. Not impressed in quality, but did wear it for over 25 years and is still being worn, as are many others.

A little long on a 5'8", and thick like an extra layer but otherwise it was a very good fit for coolish nights and weekends in cold weather areas or for lounging around on weekends or travel when it's warmer than average.

Sweater fit well and is comfortable. Price is reasonable. My one small complaint is that one sleeve seems to run a little short. I wear the same sweater to a football game in Florida and one in Texas. They do run small, but it would not have mattered in Texas - I wore it anyway and the one big flaw made no difference in wearing it. If you need to know, it runs a little small and one sleeve runs a little short. The length from shoulder is longer than most long sleeve shirts. That way you don't have to lift your arms to pull up sleeves - they are about at your wrist. That is about all there is to it. Good product.

I wear this item in winter for cold weather work and in a fight if I am unlucky enough to get in one. It does what I want it to. I was just issued another set of summer issue desert clothing and none of it fits anymore because it's not in military stocks any longer. Military stock was better for your needs and less stuff was destroyed for spare parts. So when it's colder, I wear my Combat Universe stuff, or BDU gear. Some oldies are goodies...in war or work.

I am 6'3", female, and wanted to get a oversized military jacket for fall. There is no XXL in women. If you get a men's XXL it's going to look horrible. However, when you put on a men's men's large it looks really great and flows in a way a women's jacket does when you have longer arms like me. Great fit. Thick material. Great fashion piece for tall girls. Recommend 100%.

This is great if you are military and need it to complete your outfit or a piece of a look, or if you're just interested in commemorating the war efforts of this era in Germany. Nice to have it back, great price. I wear it a lot. I love it. Update 2021: This brand recently announced they were going out of business and they started having ridiculous pricing and had things sell out really quickly. So it might be a better time to get this item now
