British Police Commando Sweater

The British Home Office designed this British Police Commando Sweater to meet the needs of Home Office agents who work each day to keep the United Kingdom safe from threats. Borrowing from the military issued Commando sweater that has been on the front lines and worn by the British Royal Marines, the Home Office produced this exceptionally comfortable version for use by their officers.

The idea behind the development of the British Police Commando Sweater was to have a sweater available that could be worn by administrative, field operations, and front line officers who are attached to the Home Office. Since this sweater was made to support the needs of such a diverse range of officers, it does not come with any patches or unit insignia on it. The only identifying tag is a small discreet "Home Office" tag that is on the side towards the bottom of the sweater. Lack of patches or insignia makes this sweater perfect for civilians as it looks very stylish but does not have any military or police markings on it.
