Rothco's Vintage Medic Bag takes the look of a classic field medic's satchel and builds it as an everyday shoulder bag. One large main compartment sits under a full-width flap marked with a red medic's cross, and two leather buckle straps hold it shut. In the photos it fits a tablet, a phone and a notepad together, so it works for daily carry, commuting or a costume that needs a medic's bag that actually holds things.

• 14oz Cotton Canvas — The body is cut from 14oz canvas, a weight measured per square yard that puts it well above light fashion fabric and closer to traditional duffel and pack material.
• Stone-Washed Finish — The canvas is washed with stones before sale, which softens the fabric and gives it a faded, broken-in look from the first day.
• Red Medic's Cross — A red circle with a cross cut through it is printed at the center of the flap, the marking that identifies the bag's medic styling.
• Leather Buckle Straps — Two riveted leather straps with metal roller buckles close the flap, with several punched holes so you can tighten it over a full or a nearly empty bag.

Construction And Fit

This is a commercial Rothco design built in a brown colorway, not issued surplus. Heavy cotton canvas carries the load, leather closure straps are riveted to the flap and body, and the back panel is plain and flat so it sits comfortably against your side. At about 12.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep, it is sized for EDC (everyday carry) items like a tablet, phone, wallet and notebook rather than a full day's gear.
