The Brunton HeatSync Vital Vest is a low-profile heated harness that sits against your chest and upper back, under a shirt, fleece or shell. A portable power pack rides in a zippered front pocket, and a button on the front panel turns the heat on and off. It is built for cold-weather hunting, hiking, glassing from a stand and long days outside when you want warmth at your core without adding a bulky layer.

Features

• Battery-Powered Heating — The vest is part of Brunton's HeatSync line and draws power from a portable battery pack carried on the body.
• Front Power Button — A button on the lower front panel turns the heat on and off, so you can reach it through an open jacket.
• Zippered Battery Pocket — A vertical zip pocket on the left chest holds the power pack close to the body and keeps it from shifting.
• Adjustable Shoulder Straps — Padded straps run through front buckles and fold back on themselves, letting you set the height of the chest panel.
• Mesh Shoulder Padding — Mesh panels where the straps meet the front cut down on pressure and let some air through.

Fit And Layering

Wear the Vital Vest over a base layer and under your insulation, so the heated panels sit close to the body and your outer layers hold that warmth in. The shoulder straps and side band adjust separately, letting you tune the fit for a thin base layer or a heavier shirt. Because the battery and the power button are both on the front, you can check or switch the heat without taking off your jacket.
