Today's combat operations require a more durable magazine. In order to meet the needs of modern combat, C Products Defense, Inc. decided to design and produce an aluminum alloy AR-15 magazine. The combination of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a full heat treatment results in a magazine body that is extremely durable and capable of withstanding much more abuse without a discernible increase in weight.
The same alloy used in the production of AR-15 upper and lower receivers, which boasts a tensile strength of 42,000 psi, is now used in the production of these high-strength magazines. Each is designed to hold and feed 30 rounds of 5.56x45mm NATO or .223 Remington ammunition to your AR-15, and does so reliably with the assistance of a 17-7 stainless steel wire spring alongside a polymer anti-tilt follower.

I have several of the C-Product Mags in various calibers and they all work perfectly including these
I found the C-Product mags to be less expensive to others plus being made of SS they are far tougher and don't tweak feed lips as bad when left loaded or rough handling
Over all great product and one I wil buy more of
I haven't done extensive testing with them yet, but the have been feeding well so far. From what I hear, they're long lasting and tough as nails. They do seem a bit better functioning than the old gi mags which are great anyway.
All I can say is God Bless C-Products and there AR Mags.
I have 13 AR15's in about every caliber you can think of.
First off there 223 mags function flawlessly, I originally picked up a few 223 mags just because they were in-expensive and I wanted mags I could leave loaded for long periods.
Once I looked their web site up I found they also made SS mags for all the various caliber ar's as well, INCLUDING mags for the 7.62x39 that actually Worked!
That was in 08 and I picked up 5 each of the 223, 6.8SPC, 6.5 Grendal,5.45x39 Russian, 7.62x39 plus 5 of their LR308 mags all of which I have used extensively and none have failed feed, fit or function since then.
I definitely recommend C-Product mags.
