MA-1 Concealed Carry Jacket

This is Rothco's version of the classic MA-1 flight jacket, the short, insulated bomber first worn by military aircrews. It adds padded concealment pockets inside both front panels. From the outside it looks like an ordinary sage green bomber, and inside it gives you a secure place for a handgun and spare magazines. It suits concealed carriers who want a cold-weather jacket that doesn't print or look tactical.

• Ambidextrous Concealment Pockets — Padded interior pockets on both the left and right sides measure 7.75" x 10.5" and close with hook and loop, so you can carry on whichever side suits your draw hand.
• Four Magazine Pouches Included — The jacket comes with four magazine pouches for keeping spare magazines organized inside the concealment pockets.
• Water-Repellent Nylon Shell — The 100% nylon outer sheds light rain and wind.
• Poly Fiberfill Insulation — Synthetic fill between the shell and lining adds warmth without much bulk.
• Reversible Orange Lining — Turn the jacket inside out for the bright orange side, a traditional MA-1 detail meant to make a downed aircrew member easier to spot.
• Brass Zippers With Storm Flap — Heavy brass zippers have double MA-1 pull tabs, and an inner storm flap behind the main zipper blocks wind coming through the closure.
• Snap Flap Front Pockets — Two front pockets close with a snap flap to hold gloves, keys or a phone.
• Zippered Sleeve Pocket — A small zippered utility pocket on the upper left sleeve, with pen slots on its face, keeps small items within reach.

Build And Fit

Rothco cuts this jacket extra full. That leaves room for layers underneath and helps hide anything carried in the interior pockets. It is a commercial reproduction of the MA-1 pattern, not government-issued kit, and the shell, lining and trim follow the original layout closely. If you plan to wear a heavy sweater or hoodie underneath, consider your usual size first, since the cut already runs generous.
