My hat was in good condition and a good fit. It's comfortable (soft lining) and warm. It might look a bit goffy but at least you're warm for $5.

I bought two of these and was surprised at how nice they both were. One looks to be unissued and the other only has slight wear one it. They are different shades of green, one being an OD green and the other almost like a khaki green. When I tried them on they fit great and were very comfy. The bill snaps into place with two sturdy looking snaps and the chin strap is easy to adjust for tightness.

The hats I received were a little beat up, with a few rips and tears. What should I expect for a 4 dollar hat? I fixed them up and they work perfectly. I'm sure these hats will be adequately warm for the winter.

Both hats arrived in great condition. This style hat gives you a warm head, and warm ears and cheeks. The flaps reach all the way under my chin for more warmth. I love it! What a great piece of gear. They don't ride high on the head like big Russian Ushanka's can. They mold easily to shape of your skull and hug it more like a trapper hat, or baseball hat.
The chin strap has several button holes to adjust for size. Oh, and did I mention they are WARM! Buy them before they are gone! What a great price for a great hat!

I am all about buying military surplus, especially European, for the extreme high quality of construction, and affordable price.
I got this hat in small for my 4 year old as a winter hat, in size small. It looks like it will fit her for a couple of years.
They are well built and warm. She wishes it was pink....
